won the Nobel Prize for Literature this year. I have a longer post on her writing and what it meant for ideas about women, but it has to wait until Monday.
And Al Gore
won the Nobel Peace Prize together with some U.N. folk. He seems much more comfortable at doing this work than he ever was in electoral politics, and I don't think that he will run again.
